A CURIOSITY IN ADVERTISEMENTS.
In a work entitled “ The Vicar of Mor wenstow,” a life of Robert Stephen Hawker, M.A , by S. Baring-Gould, M.A., the following description of an advertisement, issued at Wellcombe, in Devonshire, appears. As it isacuriosity we reproduce it for the edification of our readers.
