R.M.’s Court, Gisborne.
Saturday, 13th May. [Before M. Prick, Esq., R.M.] James Harwood, was charged with illtreating a horse the property of Messrs Kennedy and Bennett ou the stli instant. On the representation of Judge Brookfield, who appeared as a witness, His Worship in finding accused guilty said he would indict a reduced fine of £3 and Ils costs. Nopera Kiwi v. Rawinia Whabekauri. Damages to a saddle lent to defendant Judgment for plaintiff £8 and costs.
