February 18. T’ e cricket match wa* resumed to-dav. The combined team continued their fiist innings which < Jesed for 197 runs, as agains' 133 of the Englishmen. The howling of the Englishmen was dead on tin* wi k t. .and t.’ e fielding excellent. The attendance af t !, e mate i was la ge, and the weather w.-.s verv fine. Aft t a short interval the Englishmen went in for their second inning*, and w’ en the stumps were drawn for the day, ha 1 scored 8 runs without the loss of a wAket.
