An inquest on the recent fire nt Napier resulted in an open verdict, there being absolutely no evidence to account f*r it. On Sunday morning last, Mr E. fl. Ward obtained permission from Mr Thompson to take his horse across the W ataui oka Bri Ige. A monkey witness is shortly to appear in a murder trial in an Indian Court at Sat'ara.
