Mr. Locke at Wairoa.
[from a correspondent]. Wairoa, December 3. Mr. Locke held a meeting last night, in the County Hall. There were 140 present. Mr. Locke made a grand speech, which was well received. Mr. Powdrell moved, and Mr. Shaw seconded, a vote of confidence. Mr. Witty moved, and Mr. Aislabie seconded, a vote of thanks. Vote of thanks, 5 ; vote of confidence, 120.
