♦ -■ . (from our own correspondents). Wellington, August 30. An enquiry was held this afternoon before the Collector of Customs, into the cause of the grounding of the Arawata at Gisborne, on Saturday night ; she sustained no damage, and took ground after anchoring. A public meeting will be held to-night, at the Arcade, to discuss the advisability of obtaining a dry dock for Wellington.
