CORRESPONDENCE.

:o: Our columns are open for free discussion ; but we do not hold ourselves responsible for the opinions of our Correspondents.

to the editor. Sib, —Can you inform me why the Road Board do not exhibit lights, at night, in the Gladstone Road, where they have lately deposited heaps of stone for channelling that Koad? Without lights people are liable to stumble over those heaps, especially iu dark nights, and thus meet with serious accidents, which might eventuate in the Board being sued for damages for injuries sustained through such mishaps.—Yours, &c., A Resident. Gisborne, November 5, 1875.
