!. The. funeral of the late Mr J. D. Powdiill left cliis residence, at Kakaramca, yesterday,afternoon at 2 o’clock for the Patea Cemetery. Nearly two hundred mounted on horses and in buggies left Kakaramea with the funeral, which numbef was considerably augmented, before it reached the cemetery, by Patea townspeople:-
