PROPOSED SCULLING RACE.
[per press association.] WELLINGTON, This day. William Boniface, of the Marine Hotel, Riverton, wiites to the N.Z. Times asking on what terms Hearn, the sculler, would meet Harrington, of Riverton'. He suggests that a match should be arranged to be rowed on the Apariraa rivej for a stake not to exceed £IOO. Hearn has sent a reply that he is willing to row Harrington, and will allow, him £2O to come to Wellington, or take £2O and go to Riverton.
