Johnsion, Q. 0., M.P. for Mallow, has been appointed to a Judgeship, and Iris scat in the House of Commons has thereby become vacant. Dec 29. The Imperial Parliament is summoned by proclamation, issued this morning, to meet on February 15th, A serious disaster, resulting in the loss of thirty lives, occurred at Bvadsford, in Yorkshire, yesterday. The chimney of one of the large woollen factories erected in the mill yard fell and destroyed a portion ol the onilding. A large number of the operatives were seriously injured besides those killed. PARIS, Dec 28. Gamhelta is suffering from a dangerous abscess, and lus condition is causing great anxiety.
