LOVERS AND SUICIDE.

Charlie the fisherman, and his mate applied to the Court for expenses for loss of time in the drowning case. They had persuaded the foolish lover to come out of the river, and had taken him to the police-—no charge for that. But they were ordered from a job on Friday morning to give evidence in Court, and for that they expected something decent. The R. M. allowed 5s to each. We are requested to solemnly warn other foolish lovers that if ,they want to drown themselves, Charlie and his mate will not pull them out alive, at the shabby price of 5s per lover, but will leave them to drown in, comfort, and then recover the bodies—getting more reward for dead lovers than live ones.. So yon jilted lovers, take warning !
