Glass Making.
Experiment have been made with Kaiapoi and New Brighton sands for glassmaking, with the result that both are found to be very suitable for the purpose. Beturns of Threshing. The Selwyn County Council) Canterbury, have accepted the suggestion that agricultural returns should he obtained from owners of threshing machines, and will combine with other bodies to urge the matter on the notice of the Government.
