Cairo, 6th, —It has transpired that Ismail Eyonb.Pashaj Minister of Finance, has Hypothecated the public revenue in order to raise money. Since the disclosure was' made the financial agent : whom he' employed has been 'expelled the country. The encashmentVof revenue by the ■Minister. of Finance is The subject of warm criticism. Arabi Pasha, the leader of the National parly, has however repudiated the transactions oh his colleague, and disavows all knowledge of them. ■ .

The District Court will sit at Patea on Wednesday, 10 a.m., when several applications in bankruptcy for orders of discharge will be heard.

The Easter Encampment at Wanganui was moderately well attended by Volunteers from outside. About 30 went from Patea, under Lieut. King. A night attack was gone through, the three' town corps slipping out of camp: about midnight on Sunday, and attacking the camp from without. There was hard firing, at close quarters, lasting over two hours. A sham fight followed;on Monday morning, and a review in the afternoon..

The Stella, which arrived on the 10th at Wellington from the West Coast,brought intelligence that a bird-catcher named Wheeler, at Preservation Inlet, had been missing for three or four weeks, and it was feared that he had lost his life.
