Mr Nicholson waited on the Board re road to his property. Resolved that the Foreman of Works prepare specifications, and report on road to Nicholson’s, Whenuakura, bj r next meeting. Resolved that the secretary write to Patea County Council, informing them that the Board are willing to expend any moneys on main road, provided the Council supplement the Foreman of Works’ salary, but object to take any responsibility. Accounts passed for payment:—H. Dudley £lO Is fid ; J, Hughes £46 4s. Resolved that tenders be called for Cemetery road by next meeting. Resolved that a special meeting be held, bn Saturday, at 7 p.ra.
