SUEING for COMPENSATION.
Several sufferers in the Roslyn (Dunedin) tramway accident have served write on the company, claiming damages for injury. Mrs Mayo is sueing Government for £2,000 as compensation for her husband being killed on the railway crossing at Kensington. The defence is that Public Works Act prohibits persons from crossing railway line when engine is within a mile.
