LAND REVENUE.
The sums realised in the various land districts for the year ended 3ist December, were—Auckland, £16,934 ; Hawke’s Bay, £1,635; Taranaki, £2,074; West Coast (North Island), £32,378; Wellington, £1,420; Canterbury, £46,535; Westland, £722; Otago, £63,312 ; Southland, £15,197. Land taken up during the year on deferred payment was 136,739 acres ; cash received for the same during the year, £12,170.
