HAWERA ROAD BOARD.

The Hawera Road Board held their usual monthly meeting on Saturday.: A great deal of correspondence was read, mostly with reference to deviations. With reference to a communication from the Under-Secretary of Public Works re the deviation of the Keteraarae road, it was resolved that in respect of the road deviation at Normanby the Board considers the reply of the Under-Secretary of Public Works unsatisfactory, and in the event of legal action being taken by any of the petitioners the Board would support their claims to the best of their ability. Messrs Webster & McKellar asked for repairs to road to the flour mill.
