The Mail has over 80 subscribers between Whenualcura and Waitotara, BRANCH OFFICE OF THE MAIL , Friday Evening. Shooting.— The annual firing for District Prizes takes place on the Rifle Range on Saturday afternoon. The Cavalry Inspection Parade takes place on Saturday, 18th. It is hoped there will be a strong muster. Wayerley Cemetery. —I have frequently drawn attention to the disgraceful state of our cemetery, and the apparent apathy of those who act as trustees. It is to be hoped that they may see it advisable to have the grass and fern cut, and paths formed other than over graves. Is the Cemetery to receive no consideration till a few of the village magnates have taken up their abode in it? New Residence. —Consequent on the dissolution of partnership of the wellknown firm of Morton and Lupton, farmers, Mr Lupton is building a splendid house on a rising ground near the main road, and commanding an extensive view of the surrounding farms.
