WAITOTARA.
fl' 11 0 M OUR CO KRKSTU XD E X T.j Friday Evening. Reading of successful concerts and entertainments passing off elsewhere makes us feel rather disappointed at having been unable to got off another here, but the fates have proved unpropitious. The original intention was to have ouc entertainment every month during the winter, and just as the thing was being worked up nearly all the intended performers loft the district. Three or four of them returned, like birds of passage, in the spring, and one entertainment was given. Tfiree days afterwards nearly all the performers again set out. The surplus from the one given has been devoted to regulating the harmonium used for divino services in the schoolroom, and which was rather too powerful for our requirements.
