HAWERA.
The Maid has over 00 subscribers between Jlanutahi and Strafford, BRANCH OFFICE OF THE NAIL, Friday Evening. The Choral Society’s concert came off last evening, and was a groat success, notwithstanding the nervousness of some of the performers, which is only to be expected hi a new society. The hall was crowded, and the receipts will add materially to the funds of the society. There will bo another concert to-night, at which the members of the Choral Society have kindly promised to assist.
