Garibaldi has resigned his seat as a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies. He says the country is suffering from oppression, MONSTER IRONCLAD. London, September 29. The new Italian ironclad, the Italia, 14,000 tons, with armour 3ft thick, has been successfully launched.
NEW LORD MAYOR. London, September 30th. Mr Alderman Macarthur is elected Lord Mayor of London.
