EAKARAMEA.
(from our correspondent.') Friday Evening. Sale Yards.—The yards are now nearly completed and will be in readiness for the approaching sale of stock on the I7th September. A visit merely for the purpose of inspection would well repay those engaged in pastoral pursuits. As to the timber, it is of excellent quality, and the workmanship and arrangement of the pens are creditable to the builder, Mr T. Chambers. Town Hall.—The contractor who is engaged on this building is making rapid progress. The members of the Institute will unfortunately be deprived for a short time of the use of the building, but they can console themselves with the reflection that the new room is for their benefit. The various religious sects who have been accustomed to meet for worship will have to defer their public devotions until the Hall is finished. The librarian will, however, be in attendance on the usual day, (Saturday) for the purpose of issuing and receiving books.
