RAILWAY WORKS POSTPONED.
(Telegram from our Correspondent.)
Wellington, Wednesday Night,
I have reason to believe that the completion of the “ missing links” in the Railway system within your County are postponed until next session. What will happen then we know not; but the sum voted for completing the through line along the West Coast has been impounded for the present, and yon are fortunate in getting even the section at Patea Harbor contracted for in the nick of time.
