LONDON MARKETS. WOOL FIRM. London, 24th. Wheat in dull, tallow is firm. At wool sales to-day, 10, GOO bales were offered, making a total of 272,500 catalogued since the opening. Prices are being firmly maintained. OTWARD STEAMER. Adelaide, Wednesday. The Orient Company’s steamer Cottopaxi, has arrived from Plymouth. BRADLAUGH AND THE OATH. London,24th. In the House of Commons to-day, Sir Henry Drummond Wolff introduced a motion in favor of refusal being given to Bradlaugb’s claim for exemption from taking the oath. The House negatived the motion, but allowed an amended proposal to be referred to a select committee. • EXHIBITION DEFALCATION. Sydney, 2Gth. Irregularities have been discovered in the accounts,of the chief clerk of the Exhibition Commission. A sum of £SOO cannot bo accounted for.
