Christchurch, Friday. Sir George Grey is expected here nest week, to make a speech on the coining session. COLONEL ATKINSON’S ILLNESS. Wellington, Friday. In reference to report as to illness of Colonial Treasurer, Major Atkinson describes his illness as by no means serious, only requiring rest for a few days before resuming public duties. TAMPERING WITH JURORS. Auckland, Friday. Samuel Coomhes, draper, has been committed for trial on a charge of tampering with jurors by soliciting them re a case of indecent assault. Bail, in £GOO was accepted. WEST COAST RAILWAY.
