RAILWAY STATION FOB CARLYLE.

THE SITE FIXED. The official Gazelle, which readied Patea yesterday, contains (lie Governor’s proclamation fixing the route of the branch railway to Carlyle, and fixing the site of the Station terminus. The lino is to cross the river about a mile above the bridge to the Whcnnalcnra side, and skirting the river it will terminate at a Station on the high bank opposite the present wharf. The Station is tints fixed on the site previously mapped by the Government engineers ; and the agitation of townspeople to have that site changed to the townside has resulted in a deliberate official confirmation of the previous plan. The official proclamation sets forth the route of the railway, the position of the station, and the lands or sections to be crossed, as per schedule ; All that piece or parcel ot land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 117 acres, more or less, being Section numbered G3 of Block 1., *£gaugt Survey District. Bounded towards the North by the Patea Biver ; towauls the Fast by Section numbered G4a of said block ; towards the south by a road-line ; and towards the west by section numbered 62 of afore-mentioned block : as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, New Plymouth. As an endowment for education. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 159 acres 1 rood 15 perches, being section numbered 14 on the map of Block VI., Ngairc Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road, 8325 links ; towards the east by a road, 7318 links ; and towards the south by section 20, 25107 links ; and towards the west by section 13, 5728 links. As an endowment for education. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 79 acres 2 roods 20 perches, being section numbered 17 on the map of Block VI., Ngairc Survey District. Bounded towards the north by section 9, 17945 links ; towards the cast by section 18, 4401 links ; towards the south by a road. 1804'6 links ; and towards the west by section IG, 4440 links. As an endowment for education.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 80 acres and 84 perches, being section numbered 80 on the map of Block Vl.,NgaireSnrveyDistrict. Bounded towards the north by section 27, 1794 - o links ; towards the east by section 38, 4474 links ; towards the south, 1704-5 links ; and towards the west by sections 24, 25, and 26, 4466 links. As an endowment for education.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 117 acres 3 roods, being sec--tion numbered 40 on the map of Block VI., Ngairc Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road, 2014-8 links'; towards the east by section 47, 5926 links; towards tho south by Block X., 1999 links; and towards the west by section 45, 5817 links.
