A VAGRANT’S CAREER.
Frederick Lynass was brought up at Wellington, charged with being a rogue ami vagabond. The career of this man has been a singular one. lie arrived in the colony in 1875, and had only been here a few weeks before be was arrested on a charge of larceny from a dwelling. He was tried, found guilty, and sentenced to two years. He got out last year, and has since that time received four sentences, Iwo for larceny' and the otlieis for beg, ging. He lias spent four-fifths of his whole time in gaol since his arrival, and during the past twelvemonths actually was incarcerated for 11 months and 14 days.
