(To the Editor of the Patea Mail. Sir, —Can year Manutahi correspondent give any reason, through your culurnns, why the Block-house is not being put into a state of repair, as it is now some considerable time since the question was discussed, and Government written to on the matter. But at the present time it is about half-full of fungus, I think. Does the captain receive any storage for the same ? If not, why is not the room cleared.—l am, &c., SETTLER.
