The Colonial Insurance Company held its first annual meeting- this afternoon. Reports show that profits of company during last twelve months wore £6,719. Report considered satisfactory, and adopted.
Cargo shipped here per Stad Haarlem, for London, consisted of 805 bales wool £14,478 ; and 458 packages sundries, value £*2,300. Total value, £16,787.
Total quantity and value of wool shipped from this port to London during present season amounts to 32,914 packages, c ,n----taining over eleven million pounds ; value £503,46 2. Pleiades has now on hoard about 1,400 bales wool, 1,100 packages tallow, 160 cases preserved meat, 700 sacks wheat, and a lot of sundries. She is expected lo sail early next month.

There lias been a little private inquiry. Home markets are lightl} 7 stocked. Wheat market flat. Adelaide is worth 475, and New Zealand 44s per 490 lbs. Tallow is dull of'sale. Mutton, 355, and beef, 33s per cwt. Leather market quiet—best sides, 9s 94d. OAMAKU. Grain market active. Quotations f.o.b. —Wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; oats offering freely, beat feed 2s, milling 2s 2d; barley, 4s 9d to ss, no enquiry; Hour, £9 to £10; bran, £3 10s io £3 J2s, pollard, £4 10s; potatoes, £4.
