PATEA EAST ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the above Board, was held on Monday last. Present: Messrs Dasent (chairman), Derrett, Gibson, and Gower, Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. There was no inward correspondence. Proposed by Mr Derrett, seconded by Mr Gower, and carried, “ That Mr A. Gower act with Mr Gibson and the mover, to carry out work on Wilson Road ; also work on Beach Road.” Pioposed by Mr Gibson, seconded by Mr Gower, and carried, “ That Mr Honeyfield be recommended to the Court as valuer for the Patca East Road Board.” Proposed by Mr Derrett, seconded by Mi Gibson, and carried, “That the Chairman, with the Secretary, take action in the matter of deviation of Hukatere Road, and give the regular notice, in accordance with Public Works Act.” Abstract of accounts for the month of February, showed—Receipts : Balance on Ist January, £SB 19s 6d ; rates, £5 9s 2d. Total, £64 8s Bd. Expenditure : £8 2s sd, Credit balance, £56 6s 3d. Accounts (excepting S. Black and Pender) passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned..
