(To the Editor of the Patea Mail.) Sir,—As I am rather ignorant of the dalles and working of-tlie. Taranaki Wasto Lands Board at New Plymouth, I would wish that yon were hind enough, if possible, to give the following information; If parties purchase land from Government at public auction, and use scrip as payment, are there any conditions to he fulfilled, such as taking possession within certain time, in the way of residence or improvements, or any other way; and, if not fulfilled, does said land become forfeited to the Crown, to be sold again ? Also, docs the same rule apply in the case of purchasers if payment is made part in scrip and the balance cash.—l am, &c., CASH.
