KAKARAMEA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

[Communicated.] A meeting of the above Committee was held on Wednesday evening last. Present— Messrs Williamson (chairman), Paterson, and March ant. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence .—Letter from B. Horner, declining to be nominated to Education Board ; from G. S. Bridge, Chairman Waver!ey School Committee, re meeting of Chairman of Committees at Carlyle, on 23rd instant. Proposed by Mr Paterson, seconded by Mr Mai chant, and carried, “ That the chairman be empowered to attend meeting of Chairmen of School Committees, convened for 23rd instant, at Carlyle, with the object of selecting representatives on Education Board.” Resolved, “ That the secretary apply to the Palea Education Board, for minute book and stationery.” The meeting then adjourned till the 24th instant, at 7 p,m.
