PATEA WEST ROAD BOARD.
(to tuu kiutou of tuk patiia mail.) Sin, —Seeing a letter in your issue of Saturday, the 27th, signed “New Clmm,” Air “ New Chum” must think ns all very green, or else he must be very green to write such a piece of stupid nonsense. I, as a ratepayer, and an elector in (lie dis Irict, have an interest in the proceedings of tltts above Board. Now, .Mr “New Chum ” tenders his advice to the members of the Board. Weil, I hope the Board will not take “ New (Jbum’s ” advice, as it is like bis letter. “New Chum ” might be satisfied by the misstatements in your issue of the 17th mst., but I am not. I have every reason to believe All- .Morgan’s letter, and hope that, at all times, wo shall hear both sides of anything concerning the public. Now, Sir, as “ New Chum ” Inis tendered his advice to the members of the Board so liberally, perhaps lie will forward Ins name to the Commissioners at their office. —I sin, &c., OLD CHUM.
