HAWERA TOWN BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Ffawera ' r 'o vn Board 'was held at tlm Town Clerk’s office, on Monday eveninglust. Present —Messrs Winks, Dingle. Cameron, Baker, Blank, and the Chairman. The minutes of the special meeting's he d on the 22nd and 2ulh February were real and approved ot. The elerk read the conditions entered iut-> by Mr Richard Dingle for the coni ph-tioii of the eontruet accepted by him. Some eorresponJenee that had taken' place, in reference to the boundaries of the Town ofllawera was read. Proposed hv Mr Cameron, and seconded bv Mr Baker—“ That tenders be Called for forming the I’oofpaths, and also ohk' forming an I metal mg Lite sain;, on the youth side of the road i'nnn'tlie north-east corner of .section No. 8 to the south side' of the Bank of New Month Wales, - and that tenders be received at the TownClerk’s ofliee foB the above mentioned works until G p.m. of Monday the 20th inst.”—Carried. Prop iso.l by Mr Dingle and seconded bv Mr Winks (hat ail persons owning property abutting on the footpaths pay hall; the expense of forming and gravelling such fm>( pat Its.- —Carried. Proposal by Mr Dingle and seconded by Mr Baker —“ I’li.tc Mr Alzdortf he requested to put in the necessary pegs, where the footpaths are to he made, and having done its desired, to receive the amount of his account, viz., ,TG Gs.”—Carried. A. D. Willis’s account of iBJ 3s Gd passed for payment. The Board then adjourned till Monday the 20th inst.
