AIR-STRUCK YOUTH
CHARGE OF CARRYING REVOLVER. AUCKLAND, May 28. An air-struck youth, aged 20, appeared before the magistrate to-day charged with being in possession of a six-chambered revolver. The police said that he was recently left a large sum of money by his mother. Yesterday he was paid some of it by a trust company. He proposed to leave for Sydney tomorrow io buy Oscar Garden’s plane arfd fly to England. He was found in possession of a revolver, which he said a girl friend gave him. He had no flying ticket. He was remanded till Tuesday on his own recognisance, the probation officer to make inquiries and to furnish a report.
