First-class sport was enjoyed by Mr W. H. Dallison, of Napier, during a camp of three days on the Tongariro River last week. Mixed weather was encountered during the three days, but good fishing was enjoyed every morning. Mr Dallison’s catch comprised 12 good fish, aggregating 731 b. Among them was a fine 101 b jack, two eight-pounders, and a number of seven and six-pounders. All the fish were in excellent condition, and fought strongly.
