SYDNEY, September 7. At a conference of representatives of "the co-operative butter factories it was resolved to support th© policy of the directors in regard to export, with, a view io checking the manipulation of the butter market by speculators. September 9. The Chief Secretary promised sympathetic consideration to a request made by a deputation from the Co-operative Butter Conference to prohibit the use of colouring matter in the manufacture of ma". igarine.
