CLEARING SALE AT MOERAKI.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association reports: — On Thursday last we held a most successful clearing sale on account of Mr Andrew Carmiohael at Moaraki. There was a splendid attendance of buyers from as far north as Glenavy and as far south as Edendale. The cows, numering all told over 50 head, sold at up to £8, and the rest of the live stock, including the sheep brought full market rates. The implements sold exceptionally well, as also did. the balancer of the farm requisites.
