.Messrs Stronach, Morris, and Co. report having held their usual monthly sale at' Waikouaiti on Thursday, 12th inst., when there ' was a largo yarding of stock. Tber^e was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding was keen, and the following are the prices obtained : — Twenty steers brought £4 2s; 6 cows, £4; 9 yearling heifers, £1 15s; store cows, from £1 4s to £3 10s; heifers coming to calving, £3 10s to £4 2s 6d; dairy cows, from £4 12s 6d to £5 2s 6d. —
