Me-«'-s Wiiffht. Stcph' nson, and Co. report having held a vory succosbful clearing f^alc of dairy cows, c-i-e . on Tuesday. 10th in^t.. on account of Mr J. F. Campbell, Mihiwaka. The day was fine, and a large number of buyers from Southland and the

surrounding district turned out to the auction. As Mr Campbell had decided to give up dairying all the cows were for unreserved sale, and every animal was sold at prices quite up +o recent rates. Implements and sundries also realised full values.
