LAND SALE.
HAWERA, Maroh 9. The kund sale of the Hirstlands Estate at Normanby on Saturday was highly successful, 1300 acres, in lots of 34 to 80 acres, bringing £48,000, an average of £34 10s. The land is practically unimproved. The prices »r« regarded as very high, but it is remarkable that all the buyers are men who have lived for years in the district and thoroughly understand the values.
