Oats —Milling, 2s id, B grade, 2s 3d: infenor. 2a 2d, ex store, sacks extra Barley — Good malting, 4s Gd to ss, pearling. 4= ; feed barley 3s 6d. Ryecorn, -Is to 4s 3d. Maize. ss. Prussian Blue poa=, from 6s to G3 6d. Partridge peas 4? Gd to 5« 6d. Chaff — Prime bright heavy, £3 15s , medium, £3 ss, lrfenor £3 Clover hny i.) 10s. Kxegraoi. — Xew seed, farmers' dressed. 2s 9d to 3s foi heavy weights, with likely lower prices, machined, from 5s to 5s 3d. Cocksfoot — Market remains firm. Farmers' lots, 6d , machined seed, none offering lansepd, £12 10s to £13 Chew ing's Fescue.— Farmers' samples, 3}d lo 4d ; machined seed, none offering Potatoes. — New. 6s 6d. Onions. — Canterbury, 8s; Melbourne Bs. We can offer a few tons of pure fish manure lich in ammonia; valuable for root t,r gran, crops; can be used with drill-, £7 per ton. Fish oil, 2s 6d gallon Rabbitskins. — We hold our sales every Monday. The market is continuing firm. . We quote — Suckers and runners, 3d to 3d , springs, 5d to 8d ; summers, full-grown, 6d to Bd , autumns. 13d to 14d , incoming ■winters, 14d to 16d, blacks, up to 20<3 , lawns, lid to 17d ; winters, up to 18d , does, 19d to 24d; outgoings, 12d to 13id. We supply labels. Sheepskins. — Prices are as follows :—Halfbred, 7id to B|d ; fine crossbred, 7d to 7Jd ; coarse crossbred, ,6d to 7d; mermo, 7d to BJd; lambs, BJd to 9d ; pelts, 6d to 7d. Hides — We held our usual fortnightly saie of hides on Friday, February 7. to a fair attendance* of buyers. There was an increase of Id to lid for heavy, medium, and light hides; also on inferior and slippy hides We quotd : — Heavy stout ox, up to 7Jd , heavy do, up to 5Jd ; medium and light do, from 4d to 4gd; bull and stag, up to 3JJ, heavy cow, 4d to sd; medium and light cow. from 3Jd up to 4Jd , inferior and cut hides. Id to 3d; calfskins, 3d to 5Jd per lb, horse hides, Us each. Horsehair. — Thera 13 a good demand for til' classes, especially clean hair, which is quoted 17d to 19d ; mixed. 14d to 16Jd. Wool. — Good- clean up to 8f d ; pieces and bellies, 3d to 6Jd; locks, up to S£d; good clean dead wool, ap to 7Jd; seconds, 3d to 6£d. Cowhair. — From 9Jd to IQJd ; cowtips, Is 6d to Is 8d per dozen Ta-lloif. — In tins, 16a to 225, according to quality; prime white mutton, in tins, 20s to 225; prime white mutton, in casks, 20s to 355; mixed tallow, from 16s to 20s; mutton cakes, 20s to 235. Rough Fat. — From 17s to 20s, according to quality. Storing Grain. — We »Te prepared to store, receive, deliver, and insure for three months fre* storage at 3d per sack. Grass Se«d Cleaning. — We advise farmers tt consign all their teed to us, as the cleaning, •will be attended to with up-to-date machinery, and the cleaned seed sold or returned free of milage. We supply new and second-hand sacks, also stack and cow covers, and all other farmers' materials. Pigs. — First-class baconers, up to 1701b, 5Jd, very firm ; over weights. 3d to 4d. Poultry for Local Consumption. — Hens. 2s; roosters, 4* 6d to ss; ducks, 33 to 4s 6d ; geese, 3s to 4s Fruit. — In good demand.
