The Central Labour Exchange, Arcade, reports a large number of farm workers unemployed in Dunedin at present, and men »re arriving from the north every day, now 'that the harvest is ove-r. Wages offering for ploughmen, 255, 27s 6d (these are readily picked up); milkers, 23s 6d, 255; married couples, £85 ; flasmill hands. 7s daily ; labourers. 9a daily ; grooms, 255 ; threshing mill hands, lOd per hour and found.
