LONDON, February 10. Mr Justice Jelf, in Chambers, upheld the Master's (Mr J. A. Bonner) decision dismissing the Druce-De Walden case, but he gave leave to appeal. February 14. The doctors still certify that Caldwell is unfit to be extradited. He is suffering from fantastic hallucinations. February 16. Reuter's New York correspondent reports that on his daughter's petition Caldwell has been icommitted to an asylum for the insane. The daughter is said to have stated that she was convinced that her father wa6 insane early in 1907, but before she was able to obtain an order for his committal G. Hollamby Druce's solicitor arrived, and stated that Ca-ldwell's Duke of Portland story would be corroborated.
