THE CZAR OF RUSSIA.

HUMOURED ASSASSINATION. LONDON, February 7. It has been rumoured in Paris, Berlin, and Vienna that the Czar of Russia has been assassinated. The Russian Embassy denies the statement. Neither the Foreign Office in London nor Buckingham Palace has. received any information on the subject, while a St. Petersburg telegram received early to-day stated that the rumour was unfounded. The specific story of the Czar's assassination caused widespread alarm. It is now officially denied.
