WEDDING.

FREEMAN—LEWIS. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Otaki, on Wednesday, when Albert Leslie, second son of Mr. Charles Freeman, of Palmerston North, and Myrtle Adelaide, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs, J. Lewis, Otaki (late of Palmerston North) were joined in holy bonds of matrimony. The Kov. R. P. K.eall officiated. Mrs. Sm'tti, of Otaki (sister of the bride) presided at the organ. As the marriage hymn.was being sung the ••ride entered lie ehuich on the arm of her father. She looked charming in a beautiful gown of white georgette trimmed with gold flowers and Limbcrick lace, with undcrdress of blue silk, embroidered with gold beads. The beautiful silk embroidered veil was arranged mop-cap fashion and encircled with pearls and orange blossom. She carried a sheath of lilies. The bride was attended by Mrs. R. E. .Outhbertson, Wanganui (sister) as matron of honour, wearing a beautiful frock, early Victorian style, of henna satin, trimmed with gold lace, and black lace hat. She also carried a sheath of lilies. Miss Maisio Freeman, of Wellington (sister of the bridegroom) was bridesmaid and wore a dainty white voile frock. She carried a posey of primulas. Miss lima Smith ( small niece of the bride) was flower girl, wearing a white hand embroidered frock and carrying a basket of pansics. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Florian Lewis (brother of the bride) as best man, and Mr. Geoffery Mayo as groomsman (both of Palmerston North). The reception was held at the bride's sister's residence, Rangiuru Road, where the usual toasts were honoured and congratulatory telegrams read. The wedding cake was the centre of attraction, being three tiers, heart shape, and made and decorated by the bride's mother. Several guests present arrived by the morning trains from Palmerston North and Wellington. The happy couple left for Wanganui where the honeymoon will bo spent. The bride's travelling frock was grey serge, braided with silver grey. She also wore grey hat and fox furs. The presents received were beautiful and costly.
