OTAKI—THURSDAY. (Before J. Logan Stout, Esq., S.M.) Breach of Licensing Laws. Police v. B. Jackson. —Charge of being on licensed premises contrary to Statute.—No appearance of accused. Constable Cole stated that he found the accused on licensed premises on a Sunday, and on questioning him was told he had called to pay an account. Oji further questions being put he found Jackson 1 ad no money. —Pined £1 and costs 7s. Wandering Stock. J. Hu.ka.raia (Mr. Atmore) v. E. Hopkins.—Charge of allowing stock to wander. Grant there was no appearance of plaintiff and Mr. Siaveley, solicitor for defendant, applied for expenses (15s) for Grant which were allowed.
