PRODUCERS BOARD.

The New Zealand Producers' Board | passed the following resolution at its I last meeting:— '•That in the opinion of the Board it is against the best interests of -the producers and the Dominion to many of the light lambs now being killed. There js a much greater percentage of light iambs going on to the i English market than usual. This is ; more particularly the ease with Australia and with the abundance of feed :n the Dominion and the prospects of the- market for" prime lambs, the Board is of opinion that producers should make every lamb as prime as possible. The Board appeals to the producers of the Dominion to assist them in their desiTs to improve the standard ox" New Zealand meat."
