RIFLE SHOOTING.
HATTTERE DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB, •. Saturday last was ladies' day, the j prizes going to the lathes, nominated by I members. The day, although fine, was very trying to riflemen and the scores suffered accordingly. Miss Jensen. j Miss Madson, and Mrs Bult were the winners of first, second, and third prizes respectively. The following will represent the Club in the annual match for the Field Shield, which will be tired on the Hautere range next Saturday: —C. Strom, H. Lumsden, A. Thomson, F. Best, D. Mackersey, T. Taylor, A. Beauchamp, P. Guy. Emergency J Guy. Shooting commences 10.30 sharp.
