OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
SEWERAGE TOR OTAKI. A special meeting of the above Council was held yesterday. Present: His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. P. Brandon), G. lCilsby, A. \V. Broadway, H. Cockled, and 11. Taylor. Correspondence was read from the State Advances Office stating that an Ordcr-in-Couneil prescribing the rate of interest that may bo paid on the sew--1 cragc loan of £.14,000 to bo not exceeding (I per cent, per annum had mow been obtained, and that steps had berni taken to have the necessary resolutions prepared. The resolutions w*r« (!) rac-Aig I lie Joan: (2) striking special rate; (o) providing for sinking fund; and (4) authorising signing debentures ami coupons. It was decided to affix the necessary signatures.
